The Rolleiflex Mini Digital Camera proudly continues the Rollei Twin Lens Reflex tradition, pushing the famed camera into beautifully tiny territory! The Rolleiflex TLR film cameras were notable for their compact size, reduced weight, superior optics, durable and simple mechanics and bright viewfinders. The high-quality lenses, manufactured by Zeiss and Schneider, further differentiated the Rolleiflex TLR from many of its competitors. Now, many of the original’s unique features (and all of its charm) can be yours in a retro-miniature package too awesome to believe! A 5 Mega Pixel camera with autofocus technology, the Rollei Mini allows you to shoot from a distance of 4 inches to infinity, saving each image to a Mini SD Card. Included with the camera are: 256 MB Mini SD Card, Leather Strap, CR2 Lithium Batter, and Instructions. Exclusively sold online for $399. [UrbanOutfitters]

Thing is, now what am I gonna do with all these bobbleheads of myself I had made? Another challenge for another time. Back to the matter at hand: I present you h

Without a doubt photos shot from high angles can be super interesting and creative. Problem is unless you climb a tree, building, fence, or attach your digital camera to a kite it’s tough to get those nice high shots. Just think how much cooler your pictures might be if you could loft your camera say 16 feet straight up.
Applications:
- Real estate photos
- Creative photography
- Group pictures
- Crowd shots
- How’d-you-do-that style pictures
- Concert pics
- Spy shots (photograph over fences etc.)
Here’s a very inexpensive DIY project that’ll allow you to just that - put your digital camera straight up in the air to as high as 8 feet.
Stuff you’ll need:
- Telescoping extension pole, 4? to 8?, plastic top
- 1/4?-20 hangar bolt
- Drill
- Pliers
- Light and small tripod ball head
